Ok so I’m not allowed to share the actual images that I was judged on. They can’t be released until after they are scored for the International Photographic Competition, but this may give you a sense of what my day was like. My images received 4 out of 4 merits in the District Competition! The scores were 84, 86, 86 and an unheard of 96!!! The average score for this competition is between 78 and 84. In 2015 only 4 or 5 photos out of nearly 905 images received scores above 95. So not to toot my own horn or anything, but wow!
I also won a first place trophy in the portrait category! Gahhh! Exciting!
