Chilly Engagement Session, Greg & Elspeth

Greg & Elspeth were incredibly good sports and a ton of fun to work with. We met at property in Readfield owned by their family. This day was awfully cold, but we braved the chilliness, wind and thorny brush to create beautiful engagement images.

It was so cold that Greg and Elspeth stayed close together the entire time. There was little directing by me. It was mostly laughing and flirting with each other, and then there’s me on the sidelines loving every minute of the cuteness. At one point Greg leaned in to dip Elspeth, and in return Elspeth dipped Greg back! So fun!

Elspeth’s engagement ring is actually a family heirloom, and a gorgeous one at that. heirloom engagement ring

Their colorful puffy coats were not part of the original plan for the photos, but I loved the pop of color and think it brought out their fun personalities (and kept them warm in the frigid cold)!maine wedding photographer

These two were troopers that day, and I can’t wait to shoot their B&B wedding in August!
