Miss A’s sister came to me a couple years ago for boudoir photos and loved them so much that she encouraged her sister to get in touch with me when she decided she’d like to do have amazing boudoir photos taken so that she could give them to her groom on their wedding day. I’m so happy she chose me to do this for her.
Miss A came to me with brand new outfits she had purchased for the photo shoot and explained to me that she had never owned lingerie before. She was nervous about wearing it, and about how she would look. She’s a mother and a low key kind of woman who doesn’t dress up a lot and even had to borrow high heels from her sister for the photo shoot. Although boudoir isn’t always about lingerie and heels, this is the look she wanted for her photo shoot and was determined to surprise her groom when he saw these photos.
‘A’ is a beautiful and sweet woman with a deep love for her family, and she rarely thinks about herself and her own needs, which makes this kind of photoshoot even more special for me because I get to help her realize how wonderful she looks, and help her feel pretty.
I always ask each of my boudoir clients which images they are okay with me using on social media and blogs, and they all feel so confident in how good they look in their photos that they allow me to use several. ‘A’ allowed me to use almost every single one of her images, and that is the best feeling in the world as a photographer. Not only did she feel good enough about how she looked in her photos to email me and tell me how happy she was, but she also feels good enough to allow me to share them on social media so that she can encourage others who might be nervous about having their photos taken to just take the leap and schedule a session!
Miss A was married on August 25th, and reported that when he received his wedding gift from her, he exclaimed: “now THAT is a wedding gift!!!”
