Anne and John are twins, and about to head off to college and leave mom with an empty nest. As they prepare for the next chapter in their lives, Anne was incredibly thoughtful and gifted this family photo shoot to her mother. A beautiful evening on the beach with loved ones is what it’s all about.
We decided on Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth, Maine as the location and couldn’t have asked for better light. The summer light in the evening is just glorious. A little walk around trails and along the beaches led some great images. Not to mention the spectacular colors of the sunset!!!
A simple clothing choice of white tops and jeans gave it a nice casual look. Having a photo with mom in the photo can sometimes be hard to get since they are the ones usually taking the photos of their kids. So we made sure to get some shots of each kid with mom and then, of course, all of them together. Now, mom has beautiful images of her kids to keep her company as they go off to college.
I was so happy to work with this family again, after taking the twins’ senior photos last summer! Best of luck Anne and John as you go off to college!!!
