Tania + Joe’s York Harbor Inn Wedding

From the moment I met Tania and Joe during their engagement session at Kettle Cove, I knew their wedding at the York Harbor Inn was going to be something special. Tania and Joe are one of those couples whose connection is undeniable. Their story is the stuff of rom-coms—Joe had been head over heels for Tania since high school, but Tania had no idea. Even when Joe joined the military and wrote her letters, Tania thought he was just being a thoughtful friend. Time passed, and they lost touch, but fate wasn’t done with them yet. When their paths crossed again years later, Joe knew this was his second chance and didn’t waste a moment. He asked her out directly, and the rest, as they say, is history! Watching these two together, it’s clear that their bond is strong and their love runs deep.

Coastal Maine Wedding

After the couple got ready, we met in the park for their first look, and it was one of those moments that stays with you. Tania’s big Cheshire smile, paired with her fiery red hair, lit up the scene. And I love how Joe looks at her… like he’s just won the prize of a lifetime. I photographed Tania and Joe and their wedding party right by the water. The coastal backdrop was simply stunning and everyone was ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments that made it truly special. Joe’s entrance, escorted by his mother, set a loving and familial tone for the day. Then came Tania, walking down the aisle with her father, and the emotion in the air was palpable as everyone watched her make her way to Joe. The couple exchanged their vows with the serene waters as their backdrop. Afterward, the celebration continued at the reception, where guests indulged in delicious treats and joyfully toasted to the newlyweds. As the evening drew to a close, we couldn’t resist capturing a few more photos by the water. We also had some fun with “serious” shots of Joe and his groomsmen, including a cool one of Joe smoking a cigar, the swirling smoke adding a dramatic touch. It was an incredible day, filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever.
