A beautiful evening on the rocky coast of Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine. The perfect setting for a surprise proposal and I am so happy to have been there to capture it.
I love photographing proposals, they are just magical!! After discreet communication about locations, timing, and making sure their partner doesn’t find out, the big day comes. These moments in life are worth being present, in the moment and also capturing. Being a photographer and being able to provide that to my clients is priceless. The energy and excitement of a proposal are contagious and I even get butterflies!!!
Brian had it all planned out and the weather couldn’t be any more perfect. They made their way down the rocks to an opening that overlooked the islands and ocean. The soft evening light on the rocks of Acadia National Park and the waves crashing really set the tone for the big moment. The scene unfolded like a storybook and of course, she said yes!!!!
We spent a little time afterward taking it all in and admiring the beautiful scenery. We grabbed some images after the big proposal that I’m sure they will cherish. Just look at her expression!!! I wish them all the best and couldn’t be happier for them!
