The Spalthoff Family’s journey to Acadia National Park in Maine was nothing short of a memorable adventure. Two sisters, both mothers, made it an annual tradition to vacation together with their husbands and children, forming a tight-knit bond that transcended the miles between their homes. This year, they decided to commemorate their time together with a family photo session in Bar Harbor. What made this occasion even more special was that it marked the very first time the side of the family with the two boys had ever posed for professional photos together. It was an honor for me to capture these cherished moments, creating lasting memories for them to display proudly on their home walls.
For location, the family chose the beautiful Sand Beach in Acadia National Park! It was a day characterized by an unyielding wind that whipped through the coastal landscape, but the final results of the photoshoot told a different story. With the Spalthoff Family’s warmth, laughter, and connection, you’d never guess the weather was anything but perfect. Despite the elements, the bond between the family members shone through, creating heartwarming and timeless images.
