A little cold never stopped people from having family fun! I am so happy this family asked me to be their family portrait photographer.
Family portraits are usually done in the warmer months on the beach but these troopers waited until later in the season and braved the chilly temperatures. This blended family was loads of fun! Two of the children are his and two are hers and they wanted to show the full family.
An overcast day was brought to life with their willingness to jump in and have a good time. A little glimpse of sunshine with a little help from my flash warmed the scene just enough to grab a few frames. And let’s not forget getting the dog, an equally loved part of the family!
Their outfits coordinated perfectly and their smiles didn’t let on to how cold it actually was. I loved the reds and grays and flannel from their son that is a great nod to Maine Attire.
With every family session, I make sure to get a variety of groupings, from the whole family together, to the just the kids, then individual shots. Mom and Dad also have a chance to pose for some shots together.
Thank you again to this wonderful family! It was so much fun photographing you!
