Let me introduce you to Katelyn, a shining star from the Class of 2023 at Gardiner Area High School. I had the pleasure of photographing her older sister’s senior pictures a few years back, and when Katelyn and her mother saw those photos, they were sold. So, when it came time for Katelyn’s own senior session, I was honored that they chose me again.
For this session, we decided to venture out to the beautiful coastal town of Camden, Maine. It’s such a picturesque place with its harbor views, perfect for capturing the essence of a senior year filled with anticipation and dreams.
Katelyn’s passion for music is undeniable. She’s a talented violinist, and we wanted to incorporate that into her photos in a meaningful way. One of my favorite shots from our session is a double exposure where Katelyn’s silhouette blends seamlessly with the strings of her violin. It’s a striking and artistic representation of her love for music and her identity as a senior ready to take on the world.
Now, as Katelyn embarks on her journey into college, pursuing her studies in music, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride knowing that I was able to capture this pivotal moment in her life.
