A Maine Farm Wedding | Missy + Eric

Photographing Missy and Eric’s wedding was an absolute joy! I first met these two during their engagement session, and from that moment, I knew their wedding day would be something special. They’re such an awesome couple and their energy made every moment behind the camera so much fun!

Maine Farm Wedding

Missy and Eric had a one-of-a-kind venue for their wedding—a farm belonging to a family friend in Warren, Maine! The setting was perfect, offering a charming, rustic backdrop that matched their personalities beautifully. Before the ceremony, Missy got ready at a family member’s house, while Eric prepared at their own home. It was heartwarming to see them get ready in places filled with so much love and comfort. The best part? Their homes were just down the road from the ceremony site, so they didn’t have far to travel before saying “I do.”

The ceremony itself was filled with so many memorable moments. The florals were stunning, with vibrant oranges and reds that popped against the classic black suits of the groomsmen. And Missy? She looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress- she was glowing! One of the most unforgettable parts of the ceremony was the loud mooing from the cows in the pasture behind them. It had everyone, including the couple, laughing so hard!

The wedding party was the largest I’ve ever photographed, which gave me the opportunity to get really creative with the photos. They were a fun group, and were totally open to all of my ideas. We even got to take advantage of the incredible sunset, which added a magical touch to the photos.

A Fireworks-Filled Wedding Night

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the dance floor, where everyone danced the night away and enjoyed delicious drinks. But the highlight of the evening had to be the fireworks. As the night sky lit up with brilliant colors, everyone gathered on the lawn to watch in awe. The fireworks photo, capturing Missy and Eric under the dazzling display, ended up being their favorite shot of the day. It was the perfect way to cap off such a fun and love-filled day, and I’m so grateful I was there to capture it all. I wish nothing but happiness for Missy and Eric!
