If you know me, you know I adore Cliff House in Cape Neddick, Maine. It’s hands-down one of my all-time favorite venues for weddings and proposals. I’ve photographed countless couples there, and each one feels like a dream. It was so much fun to photograph Jack and Claire’s at Cliff House!
Jack reached out with the sweetest plan—he wanted to propose to Claire on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The day arrived with a thick blanket of fog rolling in from the coast, and instead of taking away from the moment, it added this incredible moody, cinematic vibe to the photos. The fog wrapped around them like their own little bubble, making the entire moment feel even more intimate.
Claire looked stunning! She wore a beautiful knit maxi dress that somehow looked both cozy and elegant. And her reaction? Pure joy. When Jack dropped to one knee, she did something that completely melted me—she knelt down with him to say yes. It was the sweetest, most genuine moment, and such a reflection of their connection.
Every proposal I shoot at Cliff House feels special. Jack and Claire, thank you for letting me be a part of your foggy, romantic, perfect day. And Cliff House—I’ll never stop singing your praises.
