Marissa and Nick’s wedding at the Atlantic Oceanside hotel in Bar Harbor was an incredible celebration of love, family, and the beauty of coastal Maine. Plus, they were an absolute joy to work with! The venue provided the perfect setting with its stunning waterfront views of Frenchman Bay. Situated on picturesque coastal property just a mile from Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, Atlantic Oceanside is an awesome venue for any couple seeking a quintessential Maine oceanfront wedding.
Atlantic Oceanside Wedding
The day began with excitement and anticipation as everyone got ready at The Willows. Marissa looked absolutely radiant in her dress, and her necklace was beautiful! Nick’s floral tie was a playful yet sophisticated choice that perfectly matched the day’s vibe. Before seeing each other, Marissa and Nick took a moment to exchange heartfelt letters. After that, it was first look time! I love to capture the first look, as it is always a special moment. After snapping a few more photos of the couple, we made our way to the ceremony.
Bar Harbor Ceremony
The ceremony was held at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, an elegant and historic venue in Bar Harbor. Surrounded by their loved ones, Marissa and Nick exchanged vows in a wonderful ceremony. After the “I do’s,” we captured portraits of the newlyweds in front of the church and some lively group shots with their wedding party. Of course, we also took a few more intimate photos of just Marissa and Nick before heading back to the reception.
Coastal Maine Reception
The celebration continued at the Atlantic Oceanside hotel, where guests enjoyed delicious food and desserts in the charming reception space. The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts honoring Marissa and Nick. As the sun began to set over Frenchman Bay, I whisked the couple away for a few final photos to capture the golden light of the evening. It was a perfect ending to an incredible day. Marissa and Nick, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day—I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love!
