I love working with the Cinderella Project, an amazing organization that gives free prom dresses to area high school students. Nothing better than a day in prom dresses!!!
I worked with Meg Gipson, a teacher at Gardiner Area High School, who the incredible woman who leads a branch in Gardiner. Originating out of Belfast, the Cinderella Project has expanded into several towns and offering this experience to many more high school students. I am thrilled to be part of this amazing initiative of empowerment.
Their mission, as stated on their website:
The Cinderella Project of Maine provides free and fabulous prom gowns to Maine high school students and promotes positive self-esteem and community volunteerism among teens.
The idea of this shoot was to highlight the dresses that were being given away. Throwing in a little fun into the usual formal attire with various accessories. Headphones, hats, and plenty of Chuck Taylors. The wonderful model, Brianna Frey, was the best and we spent the day showing off dresses, what’s not to love!
Check out the rest of the dresses below! If you have any dresses that are in your closet, collecting dust, consider donating them to this wonderful cause!
